About This Piece
Cleveland didn't need Seattle to tell it what grit sounds like. The Agora, the Odeon, the clubs that don't exist anymore but live in the muscle memory of everyone who stood in front of a speaker stack at 23 — that's what this tee is about. Raw, worn, unambiguous. The kind of shirt that looks better the longer you ignore washing it.
The graphic is a distressed vintage poster — torn edges, layered noise, "THE CLEVELAND GRUNGE SHOP" in cracked block type with a heavily eroded electric guitar silhouette at center and a single rust red star as the only color that survived. "CLEVELAND, OHIO · EST. 216" at the base, barely readable. The whole thing looks like it was wheat-pasted on a wall on Euclid Ave and left there through two Cleveland winters.
Heavyweight garment-dyed cotton, relaxed fit, wide rib collar. Six faded colorways: Black, Brown, Cream, Mustard, Navy, and Army. Substantial fabric, substantial statement. S–3XL.
Fabric & Care
Fabric: 100% ring-spun cotton, 6.1 oz/yd² (207 g/m²). Garment-dyed for a lived-in vintage feel. Relaxed unisex fit. Ribbed collar, double-needle sleeves and bottom hem, twill tape at neck and shoulder.
Care: Machine wash cold (max 30°C/90°F). Non-chlorine bleach only as needed. Tumble dry low. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.
Tip: Wash inside out to preserve the print and color longer. Some fading over time is part of the garment-dye character.
